Monitor the ESX Performance counters mem.swapin, mem.swapout and mem.swapused on a ESX host system. mem.swapin: Sum of swapin values for all powered-on virtual machines on the host. mem.swapout: Sum of swapout metrics from all powered-on virtual machines on the host. mem.swapused: Amount of memory that is used by swap.
