This check does a login into an Oracle database and executes a simple query outputting the version of the database. In contrary to the other Oracle checks this check is not cached and produces an immediate error if the database login is not successfull.

Item

The SID of the database (as appearing in the process name of the pmon_... process).

Discovery

One service is created for each running database.
