This check is based on the RED (Rate, Error, Duration) Method for monitoring services. It monitors the average latency as well as the 90th, 95th and 99th percentile through the following OTel metrics * http.server.requests.duration which is emitted by http services * rpc.server.duration which is emitted by rpc services or if none of those is available: * traces.span.metrics.duration which is emitted on a collector level and is used as fallback
