This check monitors the configuration backup of a Veeam Backup & Replication server, collected via the Veeam special agent. It reports whether configuration backup is enabled, the time since the last successful backup, the number of restore points kept, whether encryption is enabled, and the target repository.

This check is WARN by default if configuration backup is disabled; the state is configurable, since deliberately not using configuration backup is a valid choice for some customers. It is CRIT if configuration backup is enabled but no successful backup has ever been recorded.

WARN and CRIT levels can be set for the time since the last successful backup.

Discovery

One service is created per host, provided the Veeam special agent was able to fetch the configuration backup settings from the API (this endpoint requires an Administrator credential until version 13.2).
