This check monitors a server managed by a Veeam Backup & Replication server, collected via the Veeam special agent: a Microsoft Windows or Linux server, a VMware vSphere or Cloud Director host, a Hyper-V server or cluster, an SCVMM server or an SMB3 server. It reports the server type, its availability status, description and roles.

This check is OK if the server is available to Veeam and CRIT if it is unavailable. Both states are configurable. Any other status, or no status at all, is UNKNOWN.

The backup server itself is a managed server too, and is reported with the role "Backup server".

The data can be read with the "Veeam Backup Viewer" role.

The name of the managed server.

Discovery

One service is created for each managed server reported by the API.
