Veeam: Backup repository

This check monitors a backup repository of a Veeam Backup & Replication server, collected via the Veeam special agent. It reports the repository's used space, and, in the details, its host, path and description.

This check is CRIT if the repository is offline; no further checks are done in that case. It is WARN if the repository is out of date. The used space is evaluated like any other filesystem, and its WARN and CRIT levels are configured with the rule "File systems (used space and growth)".

This check does not report capacity for a scale-out repository itself, since a scale-out repository has no capacity of its own; capacity lives on its extents, each of which is discovered as its own repository service.

Item

The repository type (or, for a scale-out repository extent, its extent type) followed by the repository name.

Discovery

One service is created for each backup repository and each scale-out repository extent reported by the API.
