The only possibility to update agent automatically is the python script cmk_update_agent.checkmk.py. With this release cmk-update-agent.exe in the plugins directory will be ignored by Windows agent to prevent possible problems.

This behavior is behavior by default and may be overriden using check_mk.user.yml
