Services with a rule "Check period for passive Checkmk services" were sometimes checked outside their time period. They could then change state, for example from OK to CRIT, and send notifications.
Before it checks such a service, the Check_MK service asks Livestatus whether the time period is active. If Livestatus did not answer within two seconds, for example because all its connections were busy, the service was checked as if the time period were active.
The Checkmk Micro Core now discards results of such services that arrive outside their time period.
