The Check_MK Micro Core's Smart Ping feature understands 802.1Q VLAN extended header and 802.1ad service VLAN header now.
Previously you just got
ignoring packet with unknown EtherType 33024 ignoring packet with unknown EtherType 34984
messages in var/log/cmc.log, and the corresponding packet was ignored.
