The firmware now supports automatic configuration of SMS modems. Currently we implemented support for "CEP CT63 GSM USB/Serial" devices, which are attached via USB to the appliance. In the moment you connect the modem to your appliance, the appliance detects, configures and activates it.
You can manage the SMS feature from a new module called "Manage SMS" within the CMA GUI. When this GUI shows everything as "OK", you should be able to configure and use SMS notifications within your Check_MK instances.
