In version 1.1.7 the clustering was not working correctly. When updating the nodes an existing cluster, they will not be able to connect to each other after the update.
Users of clustered Check_MK Appliances are adviced not to install the 1.1.7 firmware version.
If you use a version older than 1.1.7, you should directly update to 1.1.8.
If you currently have a broken cluster which has the 1.1.7 installed, you can install the new firmware version 1.1.8 which will should make your cluster be syncing again right after performing the firmware update on both of your nodes.
