Previous versions of the Check_MK Appliance Firmware only supported clear text HTTP access to the web GUI and the Check_MK GUI.
With this firmware release it is now possible to encrypt the communication between the browsers and the appliances using HTTPS. The whole HTTPS configuration including generating and uploading of certificates can be done using the Web GUI of the Appliance.
