| Title | Fixed possible issue during firmware update with files in /boot |
| Date | Sep 27, 2017 |
| Level | Trivial Change |
| Class | Bug Fix |
| Compatibility | Compatible - no manual interaction needed |
| Appliance Version | 1.3.15 |
Fixes an issue updating from 1.3.11 or older where the upload procedure reports a problem that /rw/boot can not be removed because it is not empty.
It may happen that there are files like System.map-3.2.0-4-686-pae, config-3.2.0-4-686-pae and vmlinuz-3.2.0-4-686-pae in the /rw/boot directory when updating an appliance that was using the 32 bit firmware before. These files are now deleted to clean up the /rw/boot directory.
You can workaround this issue by removing the files from /rw/boot manually before updating to e.g. 1.3.14.
