Without bonding and just simple IP configuration, the upgrade from 1.6.x to 1.7.0 renders the appliance offline, until the network configuration is saved again manually from the TUI.
This is due to the fact that the network configuration is not saved correctly during the upgrade process. This issue is fixed in this release.
