For a problem free update of your appliance, make sure that it has at least 4GB RAM installed. This is to make sure, that your appliance can be upgraded and is able to provide service without memory constraints.
The pre-update check was adjusted to check for at least 4 GB RAM. Updating with lower amounts is not supported.
In case of a virtual appliance please make sure you assign sufficient memory.
