Starting with Checkmk 2.5.0 new arguments become available for updating a site (see Werk 18154 for details). The Checkmk Appliance utilizes these new arguments starting with this Werk.
This ensures that the pre-flight check is OK before actually updating to a different version.
We strongly recommend users to update to an up-to-date firmware version before updating the first site to Checkmk 2.5.0.
