Meet the new Checkmk lineup

We've given our editions new names: Checkmk Community, Pro, Ultimate, and Cloud. The goal is simple — make it easier for you to find the edition that fits your needs and understand exactly what you're getting at each tier. Nothing about the functionality has changed; it's the same powerful monitoring platform you're used to, just easier to navigate.
Why the new names?
The Checkmk platform has evolved significantly over the years, but the old edition names hadn't kept pace. The new names are designed to close that gap, making it straightforward for you to identify the edition that fits your requirements.
For example, you told us that Checkmk Enterprise sounded like our “top” edition, Checkmk Cloud (self-hosted) was often mistaken for a SaaS product, and Checkmk MSP seemed exclusively for managed service providers, despite large enterprises using it for multi-tenancy needs. We took this feedback seriously to ensure the new names clearly communicate the purpose of each edition.
We also simplified the lineup. To streamline your choices, we've retired Checkmk MSP as a standalone edition. Multi-tenancy is now an optional add-on for Checkmk Ultimate, our most powerful edition. This makes your selection easier, while still supporting all your MSP and enterprise scenarios that require strong tenant boundaries.

You get free, lightweight monitoring for small IT infrastructures. Our 100% open source, community-driven edition is ideal for home labs, personal projects, and small businesses. Get started easily, and start monitoring instantly with a lightweight setup.
Support is provided by the community.
Checkmk Pro: fast, scalable infrastructure monitoring
Our enterprise-ready edition is built for IT teams with growing infrastructures. It combines speed, scalability, and automation with seamless out-of-the-box integration. This lets you reliably monitor your virtual environments, Kubernetes, and distributed sites with minimal effort.
Professional support with tiered response times (8 hours/day, 5 days/week) is included.
Checkmk Ultimate: full-stack monitoring for hybrid environments
Our most comprehensive edition provides full-stack monitoring with in-depth application insights through OpenTelemetry. You gain end-to-end visibility across complex hybrid environments — spanning on-premises systems, cloud platforms, and application services. Strong security and intelligent automation ensure that the system remains secure and easy to manage.
Need tenant separation? Checkmk Ultimate with Multi-Tenancy is an optional add-on for managed service providers and organizations with strict requirements for multi-tenancy and data segregation.
The subscription includes support with tiered response times (10 hours per day, 5 days per week). An optional premium support tier is available as an add-on.
Checkmk Cloud: SaaS monitoring for modern IT
Checkmk Cloud is our ready-to-use SaaS platform for full-stack monitoring of modern IT environments. You get started in minutes, scale as you grow, and avoid the operational overhead of running the platform yourself.
As a fully managed service, it stays automatically up to date and runs securely in Europe or North America — with data residency in the region you choose.
Support is included with tiered response times (10 hours per day, 5 days per week).
