When you visit our websites, your browser transmits certain data to our web server for technical reasons. The following data are recorded during an ongoing connection for communication between your internet browser and our web server:
- Date and time of your request
- Name of the requested file
- Page from which the file was requested
- Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- Type and version of the browser and the operating system you use
- Full IP address of the requesting computer
- Quantity of data transferred
For reasons of technical security, in particular to prevent attacks on our web server, we store these data for a short period of time. It is impossible to discern the identity of individual persons based on this data. After 30 days at the latest, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address at the domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish any reference to the individual user. The anonymized data will also be processed for statistical purposes. We don’t compare any data to data in other databases or forward them to third parties, even in excerpts.
When registering for our newsletter, you provide us with your email address and, on an optional basis, other information. We use these data solely for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. We retain the data that you disclose in your newsletter application until you cancel your subscription to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the newsletter intended for this purpose, or by sending us the appropriate notification. By unsubscribing, you revoke the use of your email address.
We offer an AI-powered chatbot on our website and in our product to assist users with product-specific questions. The goal is to provide you with quick, accurate, and user-friendly support regarding our products.
When using the chatbot, the following data may be processed: text input, user ID, session ID, IP address, communication history, as well as usage and performance data (e.g., CPU and memory usage). This data is processed solely to respond to your inquiry and to improve our services.
Please do not enter any personal, sensitive, or confidential information into the chat. Your input will not be used to train AI models by OpenAI. In addition, technical measures are in place to minimize data protection risks: Automated filter technologies detect and anonymize potentially personal data at the time of entry. A moderation filter also ensures that content complies with ethical and content standards.
The technical implementation is carried out for the database via Supabase, hosted by Amazon Web Services in the Frankfurt region. For other hosting services, the technical implementation is carried out directly by Amazon Web Services in the Frankfurt region. In order to respond to inquiries, the API of a language model from OpenAI (currently ChatGPT-4o) is used. This may involve the processing of personal data in third countries. Data transfers are carried out on the basis of appropriate contractual agreements with our service providers.
Processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing visitors to our website with information about our products and offerings. If you are a customer or interested party, processing may also take place in order to fulfil contractual obligations or to carry out pre-contractual measures at your request.
For more information, please refer to the privacy policies of Amazon Web Services, Supabase, and OpenAI.

We have made it easy to manage your consents.
In addition to using cookies, the Site may employ “pixel tracking,” a common process which may be used in connection with advertisements on other websites. Pixel tracking involves the use of pixel tags that are not visible to the user and consist of a few lines of computer code. Pixel tracking measures the effectiveness of advertisements and compiles aggregate and specific usage statistics. A “pixel tag” is an invisible tag placed on certain pages of the Site that is used to track an individual user’s activity. We may access these pixel tags to identify activity and interests that may allow us to better match our Services with your interests and needs. For example, if you visit our Site from an advertisement on a third-party site or service, the pixel tag will allow the advertiser to track that its advertisement brought you to the Site. If you use our Site, and we link you to a third party’s site or services, we also may be able to determine that you were sent to and/or transacted with the third-party’s site or services. This data is collected for use in our marketing, research, and other activities.
We incorporate “pixels” provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. in our Site. This enables us to track user behavior after a user clicks on a Facebook ad and is redirected to our Site. By doing so, we can assess the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and sometimes re-target (a type of online advertising that targets users that have previously visited our Site) users. Please note that the data collected through this process remains anonymous to us, meaning we do not have access to Personal Information of individual users. However, Facebook stores and processes this Personal Information. Therefore, we are providing you with this information based on our current understanding. It is important to be aware that Facebook may associate this information with your Facebook account and utilize it for its own promotional activities, in accordance with Facebook’s Data Usage Policy available here. You have the option to authorize Facebook and its partners to display advertisements on and off Facebook (see here). Additionally, a cookie may be stored on your computer for these purposes.
