Munich, June 11, 2024 - Munich-based software company Checkmk today opens its tenth annual conference. More than 400 members of the global Checkmk Community from 22 countries will attend the anniversary edition from June 11 to 12 at the Paulaner am Nockherberg in Munich. About 700 additional members will join via livestream. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss innovations and trends in IT monitoring, share their expertise with other community members, and deepen their knowledge of Checkmk.
The first two days of the Checkmk Conference #10 will start with a Knowledge Fair. Attendees will be able to interact with the Checkmk team at various booths covering topics such as Checkmk best practices, plugin development, Synthetic Monitoring, UX and SaaS, get tips and test ideas.
CEO Jan Justus will give an opening address followed by a series of presentations on Checkmk 2.3, released just a few weeks ago. Attendees will experience a live demo of the new Synthetic Monitoring add-on, which enables the monitoring of application functionality, availability, and performance from the user's perspective. Checkmk thus provides an integrated view of applications and IT infrastructure for end-to-end problem resolution and incident prevention. Also highlighted is the improved UX, which makes life easier for IT Ops and DevOps teams with intuitive workflows in the face of increasingly complex IT infrastructures.
Other presentations will provide insight into the new generation of developer APIs for even more flexible extensibility through future-proof plug-ins, and the new powerful Web service monitoring that enables efficient and granular monitoring of HTTP endpoints and application certificates. An important milestone is the redesigned MS SQL plug-in for cross-platform monitoring of MS SQL databases - locally, remotely or in the cloud.
As in previous years, partners and customers will be sharing their experiences with Checkmk monitoring. Topics include self-service website monitoring, automated downtime setup for all affected hosts and services during maintenance periods, middleware monitoring using a TIBCO stack, and an MSP's experience in customizing a highly efficient IT monitoring platform to meet a wide range of customer needs. Traditionally, the Checkmk roadmap outlook completes the second and final conference day. Once again, attendees will have the opportunity to provide direct feedback on the planned features and actively influence development.
The direct exchange with our users and their feedback has always been - and still is - one of the foundations of our product development. Therefore, I am even more pleased that we can welcome so many Checkmk enthusiasts to our Checkmk Conference #10 in Munich.
