Munich, November 26, 2025 – Checkmk, a leading provider of hybrid IT monitoring and observability, unveiled its new global partner program at yesterday’s Partner Day. The program lowers entry barriers, enhances sales support, and puts partners at the center of international expansion, accelerating local presence and joint growth.
Around 150 participants also received a preview of Checkmk 2.5, scheduled for release in 2026. The upcoming version opens additional business opportunities for partners through new features such as expanded AI support and modern application monitoring.
Lower barriers, more growth
The new partner program lays the foundation for the expansion and strategic realignment of the channel. It unifies all partners – including support partners and resellers – under a single structure with three levels: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. A few clear criteria, such as revenue thresholds and certifications, replace previously complex requirements. This allows partners to onboard immediately and benefit faster from collaboration with Checkmk.
New, data-driven success metrics form the basis for performance-based benefits. Key partners in European strategic regions additionally receive free training and other advantages to quickly gain market share.
Our previous partner program was too complex to keep pace with building a global ecosystem. With the new program, we provide clarity, speed, and scalability. Partners can seize new opportunities faster and grow successfully with us.
Strong local presence and new Tier-2 approach
Checkmk is expanding its channel go-to-market strategy by introducing a Tier-2 distribution model. The inclusion of distributors opens new market opportunities, supports international scaling, and simplifies logistics, financing, and support for MSPs, Value Added Resellers (VARs), and System Integrators (SIs). Through regional activities and close collaboration with local channel managers, Checkmk strengthens its partner ecosystem, further builds brand awareness, and emphasizes the central role of partners in future growth.

Even before the official launch, the new program is showing results: both the support and reseller businesses have seen significant revenue increases. Checkmk has already established its first channel managers in Italy and Spain and expanded collaboration with Bechtle across Europe. Distribution partnerships in Europe and the US are nearing completion.

The 2026 release will further develop the platform into a comprehensive monitoring and observability solution for hybrid IT stacks with AI support. Partners gain additional opportunities in sales, consulting, implementation, and integration.

- Simplified, automated, and secure monitoring of distributed networks or sites via Checkmk Relay (no inbound traffic or local instance required)
- Expanded modern application monitoring scenarios through native support for OpenTelemetry and Prometheus

- Broader coverage of customer environments through new On-Premises and Cloud integrations
