This check monitors the number of threads in a tomcat thread pool. It can alert if the configured percentage of max threads is exceeded or the configured percentage of max threads is busy. By default only levels for currentThreadsbusy are configured.

To use this plugin, Jolokia and the agent plug-in need to be installed on the monitored server.

Both, version 1.7 and 2.0 of Jolokia are supported.

Item

The name of the application server instance as configured by the agent.

Discovery

One service is created for each thread pool sent by the Jolokia agent.
